May peace reign...

I know this sounds terribly unpatriotic of me, but I HATE presidential election year. My head gets to hurting and I feel so very confused by all the information I have to process that I get to a point that I just can't wait for it to be over. Today I feel like I can go forward with life. The votes have been cast, it is what it is, I look forward to just settling in and letting him prove himself. Make good on your promises, Mr. Obama. Show us what you're made of. Fix our country. We've done the part of placing you in the highest political office in the nation. Use your power for good. And I plan to avoid all things political for a while, letting my brain heal itself.
